Robert W. Evans graduated from Rutgers University (B.A., 2013) and received his law degree from Rutgers Law School (J.D., 2018). While in law school, Mr. Evans interned for the Honorable Peter J. Ryan, Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division, and was a Maida Public Interest Fellow while interning at the Essex County Public Defender's Office - Juvenile Division. Following graduation, Mr. Evans was an associate at a general practice firm focusing primarily in residential and commercial tenancy matters, as well as handling rent leveling board hearings, vacancy and capital improvement applications in municipalities with rent control ordinances, municipal court matters, constitutional law, commercial law and civil litigation matters. He has particularly focused on landlord-tenant law as impacted by Executive Orders issued by Governor Phil Murphy. Mr. Evans is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey. Mr. Evans is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
