On February 24, 2015, Barry A. Kozyra represented the Nutley Planning Board in issuing a Resolution recommending to the Board of Commissioners that a 50 acre parcel of property owned by Hoffman La Roche, Inc., be designated as a Condemnation Area In Need Of Redevelopment under the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1 et seq. It is the first time that the recently amended land use statute has been used by a planning board where the subject property is divided between two municipal entities and two counties.
