On January 17, 2018, Barry A. Kozyra represented the Nutley Planning Board in issuing a Preliminary Site Plan Resolution to KINGSLAND STREET URBAN RENEWAL, LLC on behalf of Seton Hall University and Hackensack University Medical Center for the construction of surface parking areas, interior roadways, curbing, sidewalks, and landscaping in connection with the renovation and re-occupancy of the Hoffman LaRoche Redevelopment Area.  Upon completion of the proposed improvements, the existing building will be used as an educational facility to include the Seton Hall School of Medicine, the Seton Hall College of Nursing, the Seton Hall School of Health and Medical Science, and research and laboratory facilities.

Barry said, "This approval is an integral step in Kingsland moving forward to make full use of its share of the Nutley campus for a School of Medicine, the Seton Hall College of Nursing, the School of Health and Medical Science, and research and laboratory facilities. Working together with professionals from Seton Hall University, Hackensack University Medical Center and Prism Capital Partners, LLC, the Preliminary Site Plan Resolution is the cornerstone for development of the entire 116 acre On3 campus. The entire Planning Board (which volunteers for the challenge) and its professionals, Board Planner Paul Ricci, Board Engineer Todd Hay of Pennoni Associates and the staff at Nutley Code Enforcement are to be commended for their careful and thorough review of the application working together to ensure an A plus project for Nutley's future."
