A Primer on New Jersey Family Law for Attorneys New to the Practice Area.
Ms. Hartz and the panel addressed the organization of the Family Division, matrimonial/dissolution and non-dissolution cases, cases involving domestic violence, adoptions, juveniles and the Division of Youth and Family Services (now Division of Child Protection and Permanency). Ms. Hartz discussed all of the case types and procedural steps before the Courts including Case Management Conferences and Early Settlement Panels.
