Mr. Brady is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Amherst (B.A.), Villanova University (M.A.), Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D.) and Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law (LL.M., Trial Advocacy). He is admitted to the bars in the State of New Jersey, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United States Court of Appeals for the First, Second, Third, Fourth and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal, the Supreme Court of the United States, the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Brady served as Law clerk to the Honorable John E. Keefe, P.J.A.D. Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division 2000-2001 and to the Honorable Joel A. Pisano, United States District Court, District of New Jersey 2001-2002.
He is an experienced trial lawyer and appellate practitioner. He has handled matters involving construction disputes, covenants not to compete and confidentiality provisions, franchise law, trademarks, real estate and landlord-tenant law and Consumer Fraud.
Mr. Brady believes in the power of mediation, arbitration and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") to assist clients in the resolutions of legal issues. He is a trained neutral and is available to help other lawyers and parties resolve their disputes outside of court.
Mr. Brady has served as an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall University School of Law for fifteen years. He has spoken at continuing legal education seminars on issues related to franchise law, construction law, and civil procedure.
Mr. Brady is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Sussex County Bar Association, Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey and the University of Massachusetts Amherst Alumni Association.
Mr. Brady was named to the New Jersey Law Journal's "New Leaders of the Bar" list in 2013. The Law Journal selects for this recognition attorneys in their second decade of practice whose achievements in the workplace and public service involvement distinguish them from their peers.
Thomson Reuters has included Mr. Brady on New Jersey’s “Super Lawyers” list for Business Litigation from 2014-present.** Prior to that, Mr. Brady received recognition from Thomson Reuters on its “Rising Stars” list for Business Litigation from 2009-2013. Having risen to the rank of Eagle Scout as a youth, Mr. Brady is an active volunteer in the Patriots’ Path Council of the Boy Scouts of America, where he serves in various roles, including Scoutmaster of Troop 1150 in Sparta. Mr. Brady is the Executive Vice President of Patriots' Path Council, and formerly served as the Chair of Sussex District. Mr. Brady is AV Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
