Judith Hartz, President of the Essex County Bar Association, was interviewed by NJ.com and the Star Ledger about Governor Chris Christie's nomination of eight judges to the Superior Court of Essex County. Ms. Hartz said that with an increase in the number of judges, cases will hopefully move more quickly through the system. She said that Governor Christie's action is a "welcome development for Essex County." She observed that, "It will provide relief to the sitting judges, that is for sure, and the community at large in Essex County." Below is the full and complete article:

On February 24, 2015, Barry A. Kozyra represented the Nutley Planning Board in issuing a Resolution recommending to the Board of Commissioners that a 50 acre parcel of property owned by Hoffman La Roche, Inc., be designated as a Condemnation Area In Need Of Redevelopment under the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1 et seq. It is the first time that the recently amended land use statute has been used by a planning board where the subject property is divided between two municipal entities and two counties.
